Inaugurated in Oct 2008

The Tsunami  triggered by the earthquake in the  Indian Ocean in 2004 played havoc and left behind  unprecedented damage and loss of  life and property in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

This created a need to develop a centre that would help educate Disaster Awareness and Management methodologies.

Innovative narratives were aided thru display mediums such as Interactive Screens | Innovative Films | Gaming Consoles | Interesting Graphics Illustrations | Audio Listening Zones etc.

Inaugurated in 2008 this museum is one of the first of its kind.
