Gujarat is one of the prime locations where dinosaur fossils have been excavated since they were first discovered in 1983 in Balasinor.

Over half a dozen species of dinosaurs habituated Raiyoli in Balasinor and surrounding places across the three eras-Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous.

The Dinosaur Museum is an endeavor to give a global identity to this space and showcase the journey of Dinosaurs till their extinction.
